Checking in
It's been a while. So.
I've largely just been letting time get away from me the last couple of months. Work is in a bit of turmoil, we're still finding where things will settle after a massive re-org. There's a push to be more methodical and everyone's going through Agile training. I'm OK with this. Work has been kind of a three-ring-circus in the wild west for, well, forever. Every group does things in a different way. As a person who has to work with all the groups it's maddening. It's about time for some standardization.
Things are starting to thaw out, so there's that to look forward to. I got out a bit a few days ago and started picking up random branches and stuff from the ground. I have a couple of large rocks that need new homes elsewhere on the land.
I have an old project that I didn't have the facilities to do properly a few years ago that's coming back to me now that I have a lathe. It should be pretty trivial now.
I'm taking Tuesday the 2nd off and going with whoever wants to go to the Air Zoo in Kalamazoo, then to do a visit to take measurements for aforementioned project.
