I guess this pretty much covers it...

I still haven't come up with a single damn reason why it matters or I should care about Dumbledore's sexual orientation. I think this nails the only real issue:

I just wonder what the poor slash writers will do. They seem to feel compelled to make all the straight characters gay. Since Dumbledore is gay won't they have to write stories about him being straight? Will their heads explode?

Nope, no exploding heads. Characters who are gay in canon get to stay that way.

Not that I particularly care about Dumbledore's sexuality. For the most part, he as a character is completely irrelevant to my enjoyment of the fandom. Now if Harry were gay in canon, that'd be another story. Not to mention an improvement.

Which is more disturbing to consider sex-life wise? (And why would I care?)
