Rains, pours....

Everything showed up at once today. I got the blinkie boards and am quite happy with how they turned out, and both telescope equipment orders showed up today as well. Now I just have to see if I can get the telescope mounted on the dovetail rail and thence onto the mount.

I suppose if I'm snowed in tomorrow without internet service, I'll have something to do.

The final product

One little mistake - the reset pin is pulled low instead of high. Oops. Luckily, just cutting it and letting it float is fine too, I did this on the prototype, and the trace is right at the edge of the board so I'll be able to cut all 200 with a dremel tool in probably 20 minutes.

I think I accomplished what I wanted to here. I'll be able to throw the kits together in no time, there's no prep, just a bag o' parts. Assembly time is roughly 4 minutes for me, probably no more than 30 for terrified amateurs, 15 for non-terrified newbies, < 10 for anyone who's ever touched a soldering iron before.
