Did you grease the fender bolts before you installed them?

Always do that on any bolt to the frame -- because of the cost (bascially, total) if you mung the frame trying to get the bolt out.

I'm with SB(RIP) on this -- the only threaded fasteners that aren't greased on installation on a bike are threadlocked.
