Finally, a non-boring balloon
May. 27th, 2010 08:25 amThe balloon shop next door to where I work used to crank out cool special shapes all the time. Lately it's more like one or two a year. I think this is the first one since last summer. It's too bad it's advertising for what everyone here agrees is the worst beer-like substance they've ever exposed themselves to.

May. 16th, 2009 11:40 amI realized that I've taken a lot of balloon pics but have hardly posted any for several years. I've gone back through 2006 and posted what I had, and resorted the album based on capture date.
These aren't great, they're snapshots mostly taken out the window at work; Cameron Balloons factory is next door.

Cool balloon
May. 15th, 2009 07:52 amThis balloon was up for testing this morning as I rode in to work. Usually I photograph Cameron's balloons from the window near my desk, but this looked cool enough to walk around.
I have taken quite a few balloon photos that I haven't posted to the album. I should fix that. In any case, here's the whole album with another photo of this balloon plus many more.

It's Sugar Bear!

The balloon company next door to work hasn't make very many "shape" balloons for a few years, and some that they have have been pretty weak, but this Sugar Bear balloon this morning was kind of cool, and very recognizable.
"Can't get enough of Super Golden Crisp, it's got the crunch with punch!"
