johnridleyA few years ago, a comic strip ran where a character was talking to another (a veteran) and said something like "kids today don't know what war and sacrifice is all about."
The veteran said "well, that was kind of the point."
We will have totally lived up to their sacrifice when such sacrifice is no longer necessary.
