Post office
Dec. 15th, 2008 04:18 pmI drive the car to work so I can get to the post office and ship an eBay item and still make it home to meet the bus, because the guy is all wound up about getting it, and then the guy doesn't get the payment to me. I coulda ridden my bike anyway.
I don't look forward to hitting the post office though. I tried to get the 12x12 flat rate box I need, but they didn't have them out. So I'll have to stand in line just to get one, and the lines are stupid this time of year. Ugh, I should hold off my eBaying until after xmas just to not have to stand in line. Especially since they don't allow personal package shipping at work in December, because otherwise they'd have 200 personal packages a day going out as everyone pushed their line waiting off on the shipping people.

Date: 2008-12-15 11:28 pm (UTC)I may try Chelsea.
Chelsea is going to be moving out to the old Polly's store location soon, which will give them a huge amount of parking, tons of space and great loading docks. Their current building is a nice old classical stone building but it really is way too small.
I simply never get any closer to Ann Arbor than Dexter, for months at a time. Even if I were driving, there's no way I'd drive to Ann Arbor to use their post office. The lines aren't THAT long in Dexter, I've never had to wait more than about 15 minutes, so that's faster than driving to AA.
