This AFA poll...
May. 10th, 2007 10:32 amI went and voted "no" on the AFA poll that someone linked to a while back. So since then I've been getting all these emails about action to take against one "homosexual agenda" item or another. I've been letting them come instead of unsubscribing, because I like to know what these misdirected, frightened little people are up to.
Today's is about Michigan HB 2459 - supports allowing gays to adopt.
They encourage calling your rep and asking to vote against, and then call Speaker of the House Andy Dillon and asking him to stop "using the house of reps to promote...homosexual activists' 'harmful political agenda'"
Yeah, I'll be contacting someone, but I won't be saying what they hope.
Should I forward these "calls to action" here as "calls to inverse action"? Do you folks want to know about this stuff? Seems like almost all of it is anti-gay, but there are some other small-minded things that come across too. I'd rather just unsubscribe and pretend these people don't exist, but I guess that's not terribly good.
