Basement progress report

1.5 walls are painted. 1.5 walls still need drywall attention. 1 wall has almost no drywall work done on it. The center portion around the stairs isn't even completely framed (though it's close). This uneven progress is so that we can get a bunch of J's sewing stuff unpacked and get her a useful work area ASAP. She's going to be spending money at Ikea soon to get storage for the area.

I still hope to get mostly completed by about Christmas, but there's no way I'll be *done* by then, where "done" means all the trim done etc. That's not even starting to consider the ceiling, which I'm NOT going to actually consider immediately anyway. Maybe next summer.
