Sequel to _American Gods_
Anansi, the mischeivous spider god, dies. His son, Fat Charlie, discovers that he has a brother, Spider. He invites Spider to come visit but then can't get rid of him. Spider begins to take over his life. Charlie asks another god to get rid of him, but regrets it later, and finds out that Spider used to be part of him until that part was banished when he was a child. Since they both have now grown into full people (who are half gods) they settle into their own lives at the end.
