Back but busy

I'm back from Duckon, had a great time, but I'm off to start a week-long project. It may be a day or two until I do all the posting and emailing I need to.

Meh, mostly wasted day

I intended to spend the day starting the tearoff of the church's roof. I was the only one there today. The guy in charge said "but it might rain tonight, so we don't want to do any tearoff."

There just wasn't anything else to do. Also the dumpster wasn't there, nor the supplies. And, since there's a chance of rain every day through Wednesday, I decided we'd better get a tarp, either that or nothing was going to get done for a few days. I now own a 30x60 foot tarp. Also a magnetic sweeper for picking up nails. More stuff to store.

But it was 7PM by the time I was home and fed after that, and it was getting windy, so I gave up for the night.

Unfortunately the new TV will probably show up tomorrow. Too bad it didn't show today, I'd have had something to do.
