Book finished

One of the "classics" that I'd never actually read, just sort of absorbed things about. Absolutely worth the time, it's not that long of a book. Surprisingly good and interesting read. I didn't expect it to be as engrossing as it was. There's a relatively long passage of political discourse when Winston gets his copy of THE BOOK but even that's pretty interesting. Certainly it's something that I think everyone should probably read.
FWIW, my copy was a free one from the mobileread.com community - members there have formatted thousands of PD works for various readers and formats and given them away for free on the forums; they release more stuff daily than I could read in a week of solid effort (only PD works are allowed there). The version for the Sony reader was beautifully formatted.
I'll stop tagging these as private since at least one person said he was interested.
