Bike stuff
Mar. 24th, 2009 08:51 amBack on the bike after a week off due to a head cold (Wed-Friday work at home, drove yesterday). I feel a lot better post-ride than I did setting off.
Also, I switched my pedals to the platforms with toe clips, instead of the SPD clipless that I've been riding with for about 3 years. Honestly, I can't really tell the difference. It feels basically identical when pedalling, and it's about the same trouble getting in and out of as SPDs. Plus I don't have to wear any special shoes, so if I want to run to church or something I can just jump on.
I didn't have any trouble at all switching to clipless, but I don't think they benefit me in any significant way, either. I think I'll stick with the toe clips.
