Annual kick-off meeting
Apr. 17th, 2009 08:06 pmThe usual stuff, totally and utterly useless, but a great opportunity for a 64 mile bike ride on a beautiful day. I was surprised by how not a big deal each 32 mile leg was. I was there in seemingly pretty little time. As usual I got a little sun lines on my hands and wrists.
Left at about 5:45. Took 1:57 there, 2:10 back (headwinds). Definitely needed 2 water bottles on the way back, though I didn't drink anything on the way there. Got plenty hydrated while there (unlimited OJ, water and soda there and 4 hours to drink it) but the trip in was at 32*F and dark, the way back was more like 60 and sun.
