Off on a genealogy trip

On this Memorial Day weekend, I'm going over to my mom's place with no other purpose than to update the genealogy database, and also to visit, photograph and take GPS coordinates of every family grave site that I can get to in one day.

Since this is such a dead boring thing for the rest of the family, I figured I'd better just set aside a day or so, made an appointment with my mom, and the two of us are going to road trip around to all the cemeteries around the old homestead (there are at least 6 that I know of).

I figure a photograph of a gravestone is a fairly good data source, and GPS coordinates might be appreciated by others, or even myself for some cemeteries.

We'll hit Jenn's family sites this summer too, when we are heading east or up to Southfield for something.
