Book 3 in Alvin Maker series

I actually liked this more than the previous book, though I think some people think the series had gone downhill by this book.

New drive in place

Got the 1.5T drive in this afternoon. It's there to consolidate MP3s in one place.

It sounds like a lot, but I have 380GB of just audiobooks. The actual music, I don't really know. We have thousands of actual music CDs in the house, but I've never tried to get MP3s of them all in one place. Many of them are already ripped out on the family machine, and those are probably pretty clean (properly tagged, etc) but some of the others are certainly wrong

There are also probably 80GB of various podcasts and such, and more of those coming in every day.

I also have a 1T in this machine that's about 80% full with just personal photos and video, and two more 1Ts, an onsite and an offsite backup of that.

I would have been pretty doubtful even 5 years ago to think that I'd have 4TB on my desk.
