One of the better ones, but only up to the point where it starts to coincide with the other stories. The story of Perry's early life and corruption is interesting, but once it catches up with the story we've already read, there's not a single new thing or revelation despite the new point of view (other than trivial junk we knew already), until it goes to a time past what we already knew, which only lasts for a short chapter and one very short tale.
It is a good enough story up to that point though. I'd put it at a 7 or 8 on my arbitrary Incarnations scale. Death is still the 10. One book to go, which is starting off to be very interesting (finally, a new story).
