Nov. 2nd, 2010 08:07 amI've got a possible head cold coming up on me and the polls don't open until 7, so I decided to sleep in until 6 today and vote in the morning rather than on the way home from work.
Got in line at the polls at about 6:50.
The AccuVote machine was DOA - just griped about memory card issues and wouldn't eat ballot sheets at all. Harley, the precinct manager, came back to the site and was poking at it when I left. He said the county had warned that there might be problems even though they'd tested all the machines.
