Unlisted add-ons
Aug. 6th, 2011 08:31 amSome Firefox extensions that are not at the main add-ons site, for whatever reason:
GMarks that works with 5.0 is at http://goo.gl/ywWVz
HTTPS-Everywhere is at https://www.eff.org/https-everywhere
Also consider installing HTTPS-Finder, which auto-probes for HTTPS availability as you browse and if found offers to write a new HTTPS-Everywhere rule for the site.
My other add-ons: AdBlock Plus, NoScript, Download Statusbar, Easy YouTube Video Downloader, LastPass, TamperData, Weather Watcher Live
I don't recommend NoScript for the general public; it breaks a lot of websites until you allow scripts there, but if you care to take the time, it's absolutely astounding how many sites have their fingers dug into you; when visiting some sites I've seen scripts running from 15 or 20 different domains.
