Case not really needed
Aug. 29th, 2011 08:24 amHm, the aftermarket (eBay) now has a variety of skins and cases for the Nook STR. I wanted a case for it when I got it and would have bought one then, but now that I've used it for a while, I realize that one of the nice things about it is that it doesn't NEED a case. In fact, putting a case on it would take it over the limit for fitting in an average pocket.
There is a case that has a built-in stand with two angles, that would be nice sometimes. It's sometimes hard to find something to prop the thing against to get a good angle. It's still way easier to read from than paper but an adjustable angle case might be nice. But OTOH I may be able to come up with a kickstand for the back of the thing to accomplish the same purpose but not make the thing bigger.
