spare parts
Sep. 23rd, 2011 11:07 amI found that Lulzbot.com is selling RAMPS 1.2 boards assembled for $35. There's really no significant difference between RAMPS 1.2,1.3 and 1.4 other than how they're wired, they all do the same thing, so I grabbed one since I've already damaged my RAMPS board and had to repair it, there may come a time when it's hard to repair (though I could just breadboard the whole RAMPS system, there's not a lot to it). They also have the Prusa HPB for a reasonable price, so I grabbed one of those rather than screw with alternate heating solutions.
I also got an Arduino Mega coming from China for cheap, and a huge box of microswitches (about 400 of them) also for cheap, someone must have gone dumpster diving and put the result on eBay. I've been there.
I need to get some Pololus coming too.
