May. 24th, 2012 12:03 pmI'm home with a cold, really really hoping it goes away completely before Duck next Thursday. I will be running hard once I get there. Staying home from work, doing indoor work (catchup on many hours of site and data maintenance) rather than the pond/waterfall work that also really needs doing, hoping to give the cold a kick.
After weeks of thinking about it, I gave in and ordered a Zoom H1 recorder for myself. I want a 2nd recorder at church for house POV recording (for music) rather than podium POV for speakers, and I also want my OWN recorder that I can take to conventions and such, because I really want to get some GT/PFRC historical stuff recorded. Since I waited so long I gave in and started my Amazon Prime free trial, and set a reminder in a month to cancel it before they bill me $79.
So this weekend I should have both the Zoom and the ExtremeCam, though I will probably try to do a little outside work. I probably won't be able to finish the waterfall feature but hopefully I can at least get things in order for it. I need to go to Lowes and buy fittings and 40' of flex PVC.
