"What Going to Space Taught Me About Ingenuity, Determination, and Being Prepared for Anything"
A good book if you are interested in space flight and want to know what it takes to make it as an astronaut. (the answer is "work like hell for decades"). As most of us won't make it into space, it also serves as an inspiration to do your best at whatever you're doing. He makes the point many times that even though going into space was what he wanted from age 9 (Apollo 11), he knew most of the way that the odds of him making it were laughably low, very close to zero at first, but that didn't mean he shouldn't still try, because at every stage he could still be doing excellent and interesting work as well as possible.
