Enjoyable story, extremely readable writing. Interesting language, very likeable characters, and just enough story. Sure, putting an inexperienced character in over his head is a bit of an old saw of an expository trick, but the author pulled it off very well. I'd read it again without hesitation, and that's rare enough for me these days.
