Fun fun fun! A quick page-turner. If you've read the rest of the series, you know what to expect. If you haven't, read them first.

And WOO HOO, my Goodreads stats page has broken 20,000 pages read this year. Far from my peak of very close to 30K but better than last year and perhaps if I eliminated audiobooks from previous years, it may very well be my top year for reading actual print.

Concert season wrapup

The 6 weeks leading up to Christmas is generally a time of many concerts, in competition with April through June. I just finished editing and posting the audio from last night's Christmas Eve service at church. It was fun to be in, and surprisingly good. Our ex-music teacher minister is really starting to bring things together there musically. I think at this point I can probably just about pack up my recording stuff until March, though I think I will have it out a bit on this Sunday, and probably on any other Sunday where there is a solo going on from someone, but those are one-offs and take very little time or effort to record or edit. Sunday is my solo but again, it's one thing (in two services) and it's a piece I know pretty well. It's a stretch (probably a stretch too far) for my ability but we'll see if I don't embarrass myself.
