Book finished: Spellsinger

★★★★☆
Fun little world. Cheesy and juvenile but, you know, in a charming way. The morality lessons are not subtle, but neither are they beat into your skull with a stick. They're just laid out for you to take or leave.
Looking forward to the whole series, though I don't think I'll read them sequentially. The story is (blissfully, compared to some knotty storylines) simple, so I'll be able to dive into the next book after taking a break without worry that I'll miss something.
