For some reason I have the desire to move back to the Kindle Fire 8" tablet for text reading (from the Paperwhite). I just go in phases. I'll probably be back to the Paperwhite when it swings around to wanting to read in sunlight again.
It's been powered down on a shelf for 6 months or so.
It is nice having one device that I can use for watching movies, TV shows, reading color magazines and art books and reading text. Also it's small enough to put in the neat new bag that I got so I can just carry everything with me. But it could be that in the spring I'll move back to the paperwhite for text. What would be great is if there were an eInk reader with frontlight of that size that ran standard Android so I can run Moon Reader on it and keep them synced. I could run Kindle software on the Kindle Fire I guess but with side-loaded content, whispersync doesn't work to keep reading between the Fire and the Paperwhite synced.
I do need to probably move the 128G SD card from my 10" tablet to this one.
