I haven't posted since picking up the aforementioned used lathe. That's because I've been having so much fun getting it cleaned up and ready to run that I haven't been doing much else.
This is a photo album where I'm pushing all my images as I work on it. In short it's mechanically in good shape but has never been particularly cleaned or lubricated properly from the looks of it. The oil and grease on it were extremely old and set up. Also it had a slopped-on green paint job which I'm stripping off and restoring to original machine grey.
