Windycon was pretty good. We went over Thursday, I was originally thinking we could do stuff then but the reality is that by the time we get there on Thursday, I think nobody wants to drive all the way downtown to spend 3 hours in a museum. And on Friday, it's possible we could do something in the morning but by early afternoon stuff's starting to happen. Since Capricon in February is downtown that will be a more sensible time to do downtown museums and such. Well anyway it was kind of nice going over on Thursday and having a much more relaxed time. It was nice to have hours of nothing particular to do.

I had a scratchy throat on Thursday evening, by Saturday morning it felt a lot like strep throat. The urgent care agreed and I'm on antibiotics, which killed the sore throat within a few hours. But then a cold crept in and today I feel like it's finally going away.

We've had a bit of snow here, not that much. It's going above freezing today so I expect the roads will clear fully by tomorrow.

Because of Windycon and then the cold, I haven't been to the gym for almost 2 weeks now. Heck I didn't get out of bed much for about 3 days. Not that I felt that bad but they say to get rest, so I got rest. I felt like I was atrophying and wanted to go out walking at least every day, but decided it was better to rest. Finally Sunday afternoon I went out for a walk. I felt great on the walk though a bit tired afterwards, to be expected I suppose after many days of inactivity. I hope I can get back to the gym on Tuesday.

On the trip back from Windycon we talked about travel plans and it seems a small RV is in our future. I've been doing some research and I think I prefer a used class C, small, ideally < 25 foot, so it'll fit into any of the spots at national parks. It'd be nice to have a towed vehicle but we probably won't. If we do it'd be the Fusion, it'll tow happily, just depends on weight restrictions on whatever RV we wind up with.

I'm still struggling to finish up the last few issues at work. Most were easy but there are several that are resisting solution, mainly because they require changes at the states and it's very difficult to get hold of them.
