On Friday we finally got the Camry back, so I have my toy hauler (the Fusion) back as well. I put the racks on last night and as I type the kayak is on top waiting for time to leave. They hadn't been uncovered yet this year.

I have a new bike computer coming, I'm hoping that it will do a better job of uploading rides to Strava than the last one, and it has fully customizable data screens which I like. I had to keep switching between screens on the other one to get the info I wanted, even though there's plenty of room on one screen for everything, there's no one screen that has it all on that one.

I gave up on the front wheel on the VStrom, it looks OK standing still but it is very squirrelly. So I have a mate to the new tire I put on the back a month or so ago on the way, I should be able to mount that this evening or tomorrow. I am going to give one more try to the mounting tool I made a couple of years ago, and if that doesn't work I found a design for a new tool that looks even better. It's a bit more complicated though.

I was able to give platelets again on Thursday. It went a little better than last time but for whatever reason my left arm DOES NOT LIKE to hold still for 2 hours. My right arm doesn't seem to have a problem but my left gets somewhere between very achy and in pain for the last hour. It's better than last time though. I'm not sure whether it's better to go 2 needle and have some pain but it's only 2 hours, or 1 needle, no significant pain and nearly 3 hours.

Tomorrow we're going to my brother's house for a cookout and to reconnect. I've been very negligent and don't honestly even know the names of all the grand-nephews and such, so I've got an old laptop to bring along that has the genealogy files on it, which have a "last modified" date of 2011 on them...
I was invited by JS to the public sing-along of Carmina Burana at the Hill on Monday, so that sounds really fun. On Wednesday, weather permitting, the FCB is playing at Belle Isle. I hope to be able to do a little poking around the island in addition to the concert.
