This is gonna be rough
Sep. 29th, 2023 11:13 pmI'm in Minneapolis to put a roof on a friend's house. The dumpster is on site. Materials are all paid for but delivery of most of the materials isn't until Monday. We split the order up and I went over with my pickup and brought a small amount of shingles and they are on site. The garage couldn't be rooftop delivered anyway since it's entirely in the back yard and the crane can't reach it.
There's still plenty to do, for one thing the garage roof has a tree with branches resting directly on it, and that has to be severely cut back. We do have permission to do that.
We need to get some labor to help with the delivery on Monday. Day laborers might be hired.
Meanwhile my right elbow is flaring up. I will have to be extra careful with that arm.
It's raining quite a bit now but it looks like it will be mostly clear the rest of the week. The times where it is showing rain it's only 25% chance and less than a tenth of an inch per day so nothing that we can't work through.
What's in this stack is 39 bundles. There are 168 bundles in the entire project.
