As in, the days are just packed. In the past week, 2 rehearsals and a day helping friends move. Also a morning doing vernal pool data gathering, our new pool is so overgrown that it's no surprise it's not been studied before. The temptation to get back in there with some loppers and make a path is strong.
Today I am going to church to sing a mother's day hymn, then hopefully doing something outdoors, biking or kayaking probably.
Monday I'm going over to said friends' house for a second try at moving a very large rock. This time I'm bringing hydraulics :)
Then Monday night rehearsal with loading the risers out of the rehearsal space and into my trailer. Tuesday is a bike night up at Cycle Gear but I don't know if I'll go. It's not bad but it's mostly 200 people on sport bikes seeing who can be noisier. There are almost no interesting bikes there.
Wednesday kicks off the busy: pick up stage platforms from a high school in the morning, then hook up the trailer and take all the stuff to the auditorium for load-in at 2PM, which I'm crew chief for. Tech rehearsal at 7. Thursday, dress rehearsal at 7, then performances Friday and Saturday night, loading out the risers and everything after the Saturday performance.
FCB concert Sunday. Then sometime the next week, I gotta take the borrowed risers and platforms back to the high school, and then all the remaining stuff back to storage in A2.
Lots of messing around.
The trailer is going north permanently in July. I've been using it so much, honestly it's kind of feeling like I should buy one for myself.
