www.dealextreme.com has both a wide variety of flashlights with various emitters including the 900 lumen P7 that this has, and the emitters, controllers, heatsinks, reflectors and glass that you might use to build from scratch. The cheaper ones take a single 18650 so they'd want about 3.6 volts input. Some take two and will take more, but since you're regulating down anyway it probably doesn't much matter which one you start with.
