FYI: if you've ever wanted to do something cool with LJ, and Perl is one of your languages of choice, the module LJ:Simple works really well. Last night I ripped out half the stuff I wrote the night before and replaced it with about 5 lines of code calling that module. Nice.

Good to hear it. The xml api they had was pretty awful the last time I looked at it.

(Which was long enough ago that it didn't support comment downloads.)

Oh, I'm not saying that the API is good, just that this is an easy way to interface with it.
