Antivirus software change

I'm changing my preferred antivirus program from AVG to Microsoft Security Essentials. MSE consistently tests as more accurate, does FAR better at malware removal, and doesn't slow down computer operation nearly as much as AVG.

How does it rate against Sophos?

Can't say I've heard of Sophos. The reviews I've read compare it to AVG, and I've seen AVG rated higher than most of the others.
