New metal detector

Got a Garrett ACE 250, arrived today.
Spend about 90 minutes dinking around with it. Still much to learn. Finds: modern coins - quarter, dime a couple of pennies, a spoon, and a half a dozen pieces of trash. Oh, and a septic tank.

I hope you could have found a septic tank without using a metal detector. They are kind of big, and you're supposed to know where yours is. :)

The tricky bit is finding cars -- do they still have metal in them these days?

Recommend you not try to dig up the tank. Best to concentrate on lost coins. ;)
