warm and slippery

Wow, is it slippery on the back roads; rain over snow packed down into ice in barely freezing temps - THE worst conditions to make for no traction. Just as well I rode my bike today - there were multiple cars just sitting on the hills, unable to make it up. The people standing around wondering what to do did stare at me as I rode up the hill.
