Workin' from home

I've been attempting to work from home for 3 weeks now. Success has been mixed. I mainly have a hard time staying focused.
I finally decided that I need a separate space for work, which is clean and doesn't have room for anything except work. Also it needed to be somewhere that can be separated from where I do other things, to eliminate mind drifting. We don't have any spare rooms so mobility is needed.
One trip to OfficeMax for a cart and new monitor, and a new KVM switch, wireless connection to my laptop, crossover cable to the work laptop (needed because work's VPN connection clamps off all other connections, so it's not possible for me to do a bunch of stuff while connected), and here's the result. I've gotten more work done in the last 3 hours than I did in the last 3 days, and that's even taking into account messing around on LiveJournal :-)

I can see the dog over in the shade of the tree, she comes by to visit every half hour or so. Goldfinches feed 10 feet away, hummingbirds come by occasionally to the feeder only 6 feet away. Not too shabby.
Of course, now I'm getting motivated to clean up the lawn a bit and work on the pond... Give and take.
