Crud. Brain not working

I totally spaced on going to the Chelsea Fair this evening. We went to the parade this afternoon, but it was pretty hot so I planned to go after the sun went down a bit ("cooling down" was too much to hope for) but the power was out when we got home, and I got distracted by that and a bunch of other stuff, wound up on the couch watching old Mythbusters episodes with the kids, and didn't remember about the fair until after 10PM. Damn, I really like going to the fair too, though I don't do rides anymore. I always liked the exhibit barns most of all anyway.

I would have gone Friday night but it was pretty clearly going to rain by the time I would have been going.

Hmm, the Allegan County fair starts on Sept 5. It's been 25 years since I've been to that. It's also about 4x bigger than the Chelsea fair.
