johnridley | Feeling much better

I think I had some kind of bug over the weekend. I started feeling pretty listless sometime Friday, and Saturday I has hardly any energy at all. Also, my muscles and joints are quite stiff and creaky; it hurt to move in a lot of ways; I couldn't even hold a phone between my head and shoulder; my neck just wouldn't bend that far. L said she was pretty stiff too. I had a hell of a time getting any sleep. I was an inexcusable layabout all weekend, I didn't get to most things on my list and didn't make any progress on most anything, except I forced myself to go out and get my bike back together, both for my sake and so J could have her bike back.

Of course, as is the norm when I get sick, Sunday night I went out like a light and the 7 hours I spent in bed were twice as restful as the 9 I did Saturday night. Monday morning I was feeling just fine again. I suppose it would be a very saleable trait on a resume to say that I only get sick on weekends...(not that I plan to change jobs, well, ever).
