RIP Bread Machine

Our Panasonic bread machine has been cranking out all our bread, probably 4 loaves a week, for 10 years now. That's probably 2000 loaves of bread.
Unfortunately, the container has developed a bad chip in the nonstick coating, and the beater is also pretty torn up, mainly from me pulling it out of the bottom of loaves with pliers after the loaf engulfed it and wouldn't let go. The container has been replaced once and the beater a couple of times, but now the unit is no longer supported. The blades are still available on eBay, but not the containers that I can see.
That's unfortunate, since as far as I can tell the machine would probably happily make another 2000 loaves of bread if we got a new container.
So, it's time for a new one. Apparently we're getting the next bigger model, which is identical except...bigger. Since we know the durability of these, we might just stock up on containers in case they stop supporting this one as well.

Did have a good BLT baguette in a pub at lunchtime - persuaded A and M who are over from Cape Cod to go on a 5.5 mile round trip walk over the hills to the 'Queen's Head' pub in the village of Horspath.
