Another classic I'd never gotten around to. Good stuff.
If I hadn't been so remiss in reading classics like this, I wouldn't be so amazed to hear about this man who has died and come back to life multiple times, and who everyone calls "Captain Jack."
I was surprised that Google didn't really bring up any reference to there being a connection to Dr. Who's Captain Jack Harkness. I'd be very surprised if Davies didn't intend a nod to this classic.
