Well, that was different. Time war waged by one person proxying for gods. Double twist ending, though the 2nd twist was very predictable.

OK, I guess. There are more books in the series, but I'm not really all that anxious to get to them. Maybe, maybe not.

I thought the second one was a bit worse than the first, although it did have one interesting point: Bova noted that the collapse of the Hittite Empire, the Trojan War, and the Israelite invation of Canaan all happened at about the same time. So, he had Orion take over a mercenary band of former Hittite combat engineers and got them involved both in the end of the Trojan War and the siege of Jericho.
