Palm III retirement

A couple of weeks ago I resurrected my Palm IIIxe. It was working fine, but this evening I changed the batteries and it's kaput. So I guess I'm going to be using the Tungsten anyway. Just as well I guess, the new laptop doesn't have a serial port, and that's the way things are going. Since I *have* the Tungsten and a bunch of accessories for it, and I've already bought a new battery for it, I may as well use it. But I was kind of getting into using the retro Palm.

John, I believe my old Palm still works. If if does and you're interested, I'll bring it home from work and we'll work out a transfer.

Meh, I'll just use the Tungsten. I might take the IIIxe apart, I think it's clear there's just something loose or dirty in it, it was working fine but I "bapped" it to eject the batteries and probably gave it grief.
