Passing it on

Did some brake work on the Taurus frontend last night, and got Kate out to watch. She's much more interested since she's become a big fan of Monster Garage. Front discs are a good intro, very simple, a 30 minute job (stretched to an hour because of explaining and going slow). Truck drums would turn a newbie RIGHT off. When she starts driving she can start doing maintenance herself, with me helping.

Tom came out also, but at his age he's mainly good for running around and making useless noises. I'll get him later.
