Ice storm this morning...cool!
Mar. 2nd, 2006 06:33 amOK, ice drizzle, but enough to make a nice coating. Should be pretty when the sun comes up.
My bike was all shiny when I got to work, including the tires! So were my jacket, helmet, and pants, and I crunched when I walked. It's making a puddle in my cube right now.
I actually could barely walk in the driveway before I left; it was a skating rink. I don't think the roads were that bad, I didn't see any cars in the ditch. I couldn't really tell because of my tires, and I never put my foot down on the ground the whole time. Judging from the dust that has been getting in my mouth every time someone passed me for the last few days, there was plenty of salt already on the roads.
