My 15-year-old daughter cuts off exactly where I do. Pretty good considering I've done my share of damage, with circular saws, compressors, and other such tools, and have at times had some tinnitus that lasts for days. Hasn't been bothering me much lately though.

Actually I've always been kind of sensitive to high frequencies. I sometimes walk into a room, wince, and say "What the HELL is that noise?" and walk around until I find the monitor someone's left on with no signal input, and turn it off.
