Good numbers
Feb. 28th, 2008 09:45 amI was walking around Chelsea this morning after dropping T at school, listening to the radio and waiting for the post office to open at 8AM (package of ultra-bright LEDs from Hong Kong were registered for some reason). Then I remembered it was blood drive day, and I'd made an afternoon appointment. I figured I'd drop by and see how the line was. I walked right up to the questionnaire table, and after finishing that walked right up to a bed. Out in record time.
This is the first time in ages that I have gone in and haven't ridden my bike there, so I got true resting BP/pulse (I know that my pulse doesn't go down to resting for at least 30 minutes after getting off the bike).
Pulse 56, BP 115/72 - Usually I'm around 70 and 125/85. I knew for sure the pulse rate was elevated and not truly resting, because in the evening when I'm ready for bed my pulse is well under one per second.
