Movie culture indoctrination
Sep. 29th, 2008 10:32 amAfter the band show on Wednesday, I realized that I hadn't screened "The Blues Brothers" for the kids yet (there were several Blues Brothers clones running around the field at various times). I lined that up, but I didn't finish some jobs on Saturday in time to start it, and on Sunday L remembered a reading assignment about show time and it got cancelled then too.
However, she'd seen only the first hour or so of "The Great Escape" so T and I started that. L came down and watched the end of it after finishing her "most boring ever" reading assignment (part of Canterbury Tales). T actually put away his DS after an hour or so (the movie does start a bit slow) and got pretty in to it.
