Shovelling phase one
Dec. 19th, 2008 10:42 amOK, the driveway is clear. I should take a picture because it won't be by afternoon.
Took about 80 minutes. Even with I'd guess 12 inches on the ground, I still contend that it would have taken at least as long with a snow blower. For one thing, just getting the blower out, fueling it, getting it started, putting it away, etc, takes 15 minutes. Then there's all the shifting into reverse and backing up a long way, or trying to turn the thing around with no differential. I think the shovel may actually be less work as well.
